One Source - Many Solutions - Powerful Banking Software

CommLinks

Being a member of the CSI family allows McCoy Myers to offer new products outside of the standard core and Links products.  We can now solve problems for our customers by offering a turnkey communication link to and from McM, removing responsibilities and headaches normally associated with managing your own phone lines and communication equipment. In short, we let you go back to banking instead of trying to be a communications expert.

CommLinks T-1 data circuits include a host of unique features for both our In-house banks and our Data Center banks.

  • Full T-1 circuits – Stop ordering and managing your own circuits; we can now manage the installation for you.
  • Circuits are monitored – We monitor the circuits 24 x 7 x 365, so we know when a line is down before you do, and in most cases are working on a problem before you know the line is down.
  • Phone company contacts - Do you like calling the phone company to report and help resolve a problem on your phone line? CommLinks allows us to dispatch the repairman for you and use state-of-the-art software to help solve the problem. No more long calls waiting on hold!
  • Router Management - We manage the routers and make any necessary changes.
  • Multiple end-point connectivity – Most banks have branches today. This feature allows McM to connect all of your bank’s locations directly to McM and to each other, eliminating single points of failure and improving uptime and productivity.  If one branch experiences an outage, all other locations could continue to work and be connected to McM.
  • Disaster recovery and contingency plan – Disaster planning is now a regulator requirement. If there is a disaster or major phone line outage at your main office or a McM data center, your network traffic can be rerouted to another location within hours.
  • Direct connections – With the kind of privacy normally associated with point-to-point leased lines, our direct connections allow you to route data, voice, and video between branches in a secure network environment as required by the Gramm Leach Bliley Act (GLBA).
  • Federal and state laws govern McM in the same way that they govern your bank.  We are examined by the FDIC, OCC, and OTS under FFIEC guidelines and are required to meet stringent GLBA requirements.
  • Extended or Add-on services – You can get additional usage from your data circuits by using the circuits for additional McM products, such as Merchant Capture, MoneyLinks, and CSINet.
